With the anticipation of days in the 50's this week we decided we needed to start immediately on what we hope is part of our permament solution to the winter open water saga. Building a 4x20 floating dock that will go inside the Swans pen. Pond guy comes tomorrow to talk about new permanent pumps we will install this summer, but getting the dock completed now will allow us to get food to them safely as the pond melts and we can no longer walk on the under ice. Of course its too cold to build this outside so as always no better project place than the living room.
